We have been in the lifestyle for some time now. We love hosting our own intimate parties...but we also love going to clubs. However..that said, we would like to discuss, and hear your views on the music...more specific, volume levels of music in clubs.

For us it seems...most, if not all clubs are stuck in the 70's or 80's in terms of playing music as loud as possible. Trying to make a disco out of what should be a sensual and sexy experience.

We go to clubs to meet and chat up new friends....hopefully for future relations...not to have your ears hurt the next day and not to have found it impossible to have had a discussion with somebody. We found that the more intoxicated the club owners become, the louder the music becomes.

Ironically...we asked one of the club owners if they would consider lowering the volume...to be greeted with a arrongant response of...do you want me to turn the music off?

Its everybodies choice of the club you wish to visit, and its club owners choice what music they play and how loud...but we for one will be voting with our feet...and will be searching for clubs where you dont have to be wearing ear plugs...

Well that is one of the reasons we have tended to avoid clubs for a very long time.... is it a swingers club or a disco club that allows swinging.

This may have changed but we often too cautious to go find out.

When we did a while ago we never got past the immature bloke at reception and his attitude.

Reading this I think I should point something out....

There is method to the madness . Clubs generally try to set n real dance party mood , like you'll find at any normal club. There is quiet places in the club. Ie. The jacuzzi,  private rooms or in some cases a open lounge/play area.

The idea kids is that when you meet someone and want a proper conversation, then you move to one of these areas. And then the setting stimulates other activities.

You are right...this is what they do...however we are not attending a dance party...we are there for a swingers party. Clubs are missing the point.

We prefer private parties

Yeah the other issue with the clubs is a general lack of hygiene. I get it's a party place but some clubs seriously need to brush up.

I also think the more upmarket or exclusive the club the more classy or sophisticated it will be. But yes definitely agree.......

I visited a new club in Midrand and they actually had like a social area which was quite nice.
