Vouch

I can’t see what you need to do to vouch for someone  how do you do it?

Vouching and Verifying is TWO different things.  

To vouch for someone is when someone who asks for your opinion about a person whom they have NEVER met or played with before, from someone who has verified that same person. It usually is done via private mail and should be done with consent really! Which does NOT really happen. I did go and check if I could see the *vouch* section under *friends* on my profile but could not see  any. I could however see the verification section.

Verifying someone is easy, but has RULES (even if not spelled out)......  YOU have to have MET in person, not necessarily have played with that person just met them/him/her in person and gotten to know them. You can go to their profile and click verify and then it will show up under their completed profile, with your profile name to indicate that you HAVE met them and saying they are the real deal.

pib,  things changed , the verify option is no longer available.  When you friend someone there is an option available on their profile to vouch for them . Then you can say that you met them , and whatever you want to let others know they are worth while . 

This vouch is then moderated and posted . If you want to you can remove any vouch from your profile at will.  

Verification is only done by site officials through the picture  verification process. 

To go to the original question.  Yes it helps we know lots of people that place stock in if someone is vouched for or not

@ sexysam69    aaaah Thanks for making things clear.  I did not go to a *friends* profile just my own, thus could not see the vouch method that is new.

There was a time , a long time ago when there was a regular forum community, posts where regular and engaging .....one day again perhaps 

The days of LeeEc and KC. 

Some of those people kill the forum's, Myself was a users of the forum's  but people find fault with every topic. The warning was the forum's would became dead wood. Thank you to Pussinboots1  who try to get it alive again.

We still vouch all the people we met with, with our honest opinion.

Yeah I agree PIB, LeeEC, KC were all very good contributors but there was a good few who would find fault with everything. So narrow minded that they only saw their own point without being open minded enough to engage. 

It was actually via the forums that I met up with both Lee and KC. 

The vouch system was one awesome addition when first introduced. My only problem was that some profiles would not use the Vouch system to Vouch for someone, but rather to greet them and try get their attention. If I'm not mistaken (which I could be) I remember once seeing a Vouch written "please check your inbox". That defeats the purpose entirely. I just hope users don't eventually ruin what could be a great feature for the real swingers out there. 

You can only vouch for a friend. That would mean that people are accepting friend invites from people they don't know. 

Ohhh well that makes sense. I understand people accepting invites from people they might be messaging but why do people feel the need to send a message through the vouching system??? Well anyway... I just like the feature. I really hope they don't remove it. 

I also use the vouch system to vouch anyone that I have met, even if it is just to chat or have coffee, this hopefully proves to others that those people are real and I ask that they vouch for me as well. Just a more secure way of choosing friends, but at least read them first, some vouches are a total waste of time and should not even be allowed if the mods do read and approve them.

@PoohC  Well, I fell back from sexpert to warming the bed when I closed my first account and rejoined last year again...(snik snik...)  LMAO....well hopefully the Fora picks up this year.

Like sexysam says...posting and commenting in the Fora will make you a sexpert  soon enough. I am not sure I will reach that level again.

Yeah let's hope so I actually made a good few acquaintances using the forum
