What is a Racial line?
Does the so called racial line only count when the wives are browsing with their hubby's and when wifey disappears then the hubby's browse through the "Prohibited Profiles" on SH and send their fantacy comments, or maybe its that we want to try new things and write on our profiles " Whites only, We don't cross the racial line etc" just for our other swinging buddies not to look down on us. We are honest on our profile and our preferences are listed, not to impress our friends or to offend anyone, but to give folks who may be interested in us an idea of what we are like and whom we are likely to be attracted to.
Race; age; smoking preferences; drinking habits; body type; sexual preferences/taboos; gender preferences; geographical area and hobbies are but a few categories which describe preferences or dislikes.
The idea is that: folk who are not likely to be attractive to us do not waste their time contacting us. Makes it easier for everyone to find their match.
Being "open-minded" should not be confused with "indifference". If one is indifferent then one is likely to have sex with anyone and everyone; however; there are those who have a "type" of person they find attractive and only want to meet and/or play with folk whom they find attractive. This does not make them not open-minded, just discerning.

We do find that extremely confusing, however, we happily make friends of all races....we choose not to play with all races....maybe you should ask them why? I, for one, would be interested in their reply!

People often don't really read what the profile says, especially if there are photo's attached to the profile. And there are people who want to "experiment" with people of a different race, make contact and then simply freak out when they get a positive response. This is one of those things that I would suggest you don't let bother you too much, yes, I know it can be frustrating sometimes, but is it really worth the effort of getting upset / annoyed / etc about it?

Inwould assume that people do look at profile pictures more than reading what their profile says. I agree with SDMR that some people want to try another race and when they do get a response they are unsure if they should really try it. I for one have had encounters with different races and it doesn't bother me. One thing is that hygiene must be a priority in all races. I have encountered that there will be a lot of time wasters before you get to the real people. Its a numbers game. Be patient and I'm sure you will find what you looking for.

I would like to start a petition that calls for the banning of the use of the word APARTHEID . . . . . . for too long now, we (south africans) have used the word Apartheid instead of racism. (Hear me out first)

Apartheid was a system implemented by the governance of the country during a particular time which enforced seperation of cultural groups and limitation of certain rights/quality of access to certain things for certain groups.
AND while I disagree with the idea that the terms "apartheid", "racism", 'equity'and "affirmative action" can be used interchangably to mean the same thing, Joyrider might have a point if he said "affirmative action" is just a way to reverse "apartheid" ideas - Which dear friends, was the POINT of affirmative action- though it's efficacy toward that goal, could yet be debated at length.
PLEASE show you're a educated & intelligent bunch by making sure that your posts don't indicate/imply that the word Racism is about a specific colour (white) against a specific colour group (black), or imply that Racism can be reversed - "Reverse racism" would be the action of NOT BEING RACIST! (Not redirecting your racism in a different direction or at a different group of people - that would still be called "racism"!)
Racism is judging the presence of OR applying; any attribute, to any person, of any colour BASED on the fact that they are a particular colour. Regardless of what YOUR skin colour is. (it can even be the same!)
Actually if we were to be perfectly technically accurate, saying black men have bigger dicks, while not neccessarily being an offensive statement, is QUITE RACIST, because we all know that every individual on the planet is completely unique and can not be accurately judged in ANY context for any attribute (EXCEPT the colour of their skin - least of all for their bit size!),
BY the colour of their skin.
The only Truely NON Racist generalisation one can make is: MOST black people have brown skin
and MOST white people have pinkish to pale brown skin.... and this entirely depends on the seasons, area of residence, genetics and depth of sunburn of each individual in question. Basically to NOT be racist you need to stop judging or assuming what a person's attributes are, because of their skin colour.I don't know - is this confusing? - I'm not sure it reads well....

Funny thing is that I have been contacted by a lot of husbands, asking me to help him convince his wife to try a black guy.
"Just chat to her a while and see if you can't convince her" is often what I hear...even from couples that state "We don't cross the racial line".

Hmmmmmmm user this topic has come up again.
As some one who is not white, here is a simple way of looking at it. A persons taste in sexual partner is like a persons taste in food. I have my favorites, I have some that I crave occasionally, some thats just not for me and then there are those that foods that we are curious about but are afraid to taste. Ie I'm curious about frogs legs but I don't think I will ever eat them.
As we mature our tastes change. Myself, my tastes in EVERYTHING is completely different to what it was when I was 20.
