Since this is a site for generalists, I decided to generalise a bit myself...
The chance of meeting someone (couple or single) on this site is extremely slim. The chance of actually doing something of a sexual nature is even slimmer. There will be 20 people who disagree and give me all kinds of hogwash reasons (excuses) as to why that is and then there will be 100's that agree. For me (and a great many), this site is a meg eater! Daily logons with endless searches and countless messages that just lead to half a day wasted along 200 megs of expensive 3G data.
So I still logon everyday - for research purposes. Finding any kind of action here has now become a "prove myself wrong" endeavour. While doing this, I take note of what happens, and it is as follows...
Couples message me back 7 times out of 10. Females message me back 3 times out of 10. 2 of those 3 are rude and one will be friendly. As for the couples, they are more serious but nothing really comes from bouncing messages up and down. Couples over 30 seem more interested when chatting. Under 30's only send a single sentence at a time. You can sense the disinterestedness. Then the females and a few couples that blatantly ignore the message! They have read it as it is no longer highlighted in the sent folder and you can see that they viewed your profile. Perfectly fine if they are not interested but still would not kill them to answer a message. That way, we will not attempt to contact again in future.
It has become an uphill battle. Logon and hope to see that tiny little red block next to "inbox", which happens few and far between. When it does, it is a wink from a gay guy!! If it is a message from a female, you can be sure it is a scammer. If it is from a couple, then great but know that it will be just chatting for the next week and then go quiet. I really don't understand people. Why bother being on a site like this if you know you are not really going to take the plunge. For the serious ones with the long list of rules I say this. Sex is fun, it is best served spontaneously, add the rules to it: No under 35's, no single men, no married guys, no hairy guys, no small penises, same room only, no smokers, etc, etc, etc... Sex is now also governed by regulations. I know people have preferences but no need to have this strict criteria for something that should have no boundaries.
I have my standards and preferences. They are however not set in stone. I do not particularly have an attraction to fat girls, but I am open to it if the moment allows. I like Nissan, so now I should never drive a Toyota?
Anyway, just felt like rambling and complaining a bit. It all gets very frustrating sometimes. I just can not believe that even decent guys don't get any action on here. I will stay a member and always keep contact with the friends I made here... But the searching is over. The amount I spend on megs could hire 5 high class hookers a month!!! Lol!

I have had many cars. I now have a Citroen C4 VTR, a Nissan 3.3 V6 double cab and Mazda RX8. The Citroen is fun but too small to be practical for me. Its the bread and milk car. The double cab is big, spacious and perfect for me... But 5k's to the litre is not lekka! Then my RX8 is a beast and drives like a Porsche, but gives alot of shit! I have the bonnet open once a week!
I have to say, many manufacturers have a long way to go to reach Toyota quality! They just keep on going. Probably the best made cars on the planet. You can not destroy a Hilux! My sister drives a Tazz that has 400 000 odd km's on the clock and it still just keeps going. I have never owned a Toyota, but I wish I had. Damn good quality. Styling not up there but good luck trying to break one. Top gear proved it with that old 2.4 diesel that they left in the sea, dropped off a building, set it on fire, rolled it, etc... The damn thing just needed a replacement battery and started after all that!
I am still a Nissan fan though. From experience, they have never let me down. Next stop - Nissan GTR!!!!

Well, it seems all of you guys (and ladies) have had more success than me. My "strike rate" has been exactly zero so far, though I have only been on here for about a month so maybe I just need to be patient. If you have any suggestions why I'm striking out, I'm open to them.
So far though it seems that I'm either doing something wrong, simply unlucky, or just plain not interesting or attractive enough. Meh, I guess I'm not too bothered though.
