Mine was cut on (about) the 14th day after birth - not sure, but around that time.
Don't remember or recall any pain or something.
As kids I had a couple of 'draadtrek' sessions (part of the learning and curious phase, rather than the masturbating sessions with long term after effects!?) with my best buddy and he was uncircumcised - I just remember that to do him was not as easy as my own circumcised penis, as the head touch was too sensitive, I had to use the skin and lots of spit for movement!

In terms of whether or not for your own kids... I have no idea - never had to make the decision..
In terms of my own preference in my sex life.... definately pro.
My hubby is and most of my partners have been... most of the uncut chaps I've come across, and I admit this is probably a generalisation considering my limited experience in this department (uncut individuals), tend to have less understanding of the minimum requirements in terms of cleanliness, and generally get less attention in the form of oral sex...
Perhaps a poll (and maybe a few more active forum members) might assist in closer-to-accurate reference data collection?

But as I see A LOT of different penises daily!!! I would think most Parents should have their babies circumcised,for cleanliness only because I am a CLEAN FREAK.
To be circumcised when you are a adult could be more traumatic and very is painful.
I do not have a problem with a foreskin as long as you are VERY clean.
Just as I do not have a problem with someone who is circumcised.
I personally also think the men who boast they can *pound* a woman longer due to being circumcised is pure nonsense.

To me, I simply agree with PiB's final bit about taking something the young boy may have wanted to keep as an adult. Hence, even though there are many pro's to circumsision, I will leave my boy as is, if as an adult he wants to have it done, it will be his choice.

I am pro because of previous bad experiences...the first guy i ever went down on was uncut and it the odour and taste was grossly awful. I am scarred from that incident. Then again it might have been that that guy was just plain down unhygienic. To me a cut penis is cleaner and easier to suck( dont know how to handle the foreskin) cut penis "goes down" well less lube...sorry for the graphics. And an with an uncut penis u can take it out anytime of the day, provided the guys washed for the day and suck it without that horrible smell.*my opinion*

To those girls having bad experiences with guys with bad hygiene - dont blame the penis... cut or not cut... its the owner who was of bad hygiene, not the penis.
So... to judge a guy on hygiene just by his cut status is completely wrong girls!!! You just made a wrong choice when going down on an unhygienic guy.!
So... what am i saying?
Make sure you both are clean and hygienic before engaging in fun and play... shower together... know his/her status ... and then enjoy each other. If you dont... you are on dangerous terrain.

Firstly, THANKS to all for non of the poisonous anti-circumcision drivel seen on the internet these days!! Also nice to see some comments from women, can we see some from other women too please? Obviously, I have an interest in the subject and as such I will elaborate, albeit in pieces at a time.
One thing that I do know for certain today after many years of using the internet and with the strenth of the search engines today: There are maybe 3 or max 10 people WORLD-wide who mine/troll the internet regularly for any and all mention of the words circumcise/d~ circumcision and then home in on that web page. These guys (yes guys) are usually old queens with wet nappies who are sexually turned on by foreskins and then they have a host of non-de-plumes by which they go(very often the same from site to site) and keep a reserve of stored diatribe to attack any pro-circumcision interest. This I have personally seen over the many years of using the internet now, since its beginning.
If, you wish to look at the scientific evidence in favour of circumcision as a prophylactic against various STD's, then I ask only one question. "What is proof"? In an advanced methodology of reasoning that is. i.e. double blind research etc.
My stance towards circumcising the foreskin is purely sexual.
Let me explain from the beginning.
I was raised un-circumcised. My father was circumcised. My mother is European and against it, but then (bless her soul) is utterly un-sexual.(Different topic)
My foreskin was fairly long, as a toddler of 3, my foreskin would stay over the head with a large amount of overhang, even when erect. My sister loved playing with it and she was forever pulling it back to see the exposed head which she loved! If I was erect and she had the skin pulled back, it would stay pulled back behind the head. I have a nice large head.
When I was 6 and started to go to school, I obviously knew about my foreskin and how it worked. During one of our swimming lessons, whilst changing, I noticed my best friend's foreskin was retracted, even though we were all flaccid. This fascinated me and I asked him how he manages to keep it prmanently retracted. He said, his mother had explained to him that he will see other boys with a willie that has got skin covering the head so that you cannot see it. She said that when he was a baby, she had asked the doctor to do an operation on him to remove the skin making the head head permanently exposed. I was smitten! I had to have that done for mine too. Not going to happen.......I was lectured in detail by my parents about Jewish boys who have their foreskins cut off as a tradition, because in olden days they lived in the desert and sand got under it and made it sore. Not the correct reason, although true enough..... Problem was, he wasn't Jewish! (my friend)
By the time I was 8, I had been suffering from balanitis quite a lot. Not pleasant. I did bath daily, and naturally played with my penis in the bath, with the skin retracted. I still got a lot of smegma build up by the next day before bathing time again. Although after the bath at night it was obviously clean for quite a while.
By the way, the smegma which looks like little white flakes building up under the foreskin smells just like after you've had a bath/shower as an adult and you then trim your toe-nails and you clean off the crud in the corners of your trimmed big toe nail. Not a nice smell and identical in smell to the unwashed foreskin. Obviously after you then washed your toes you don't smell anything strong anymore either. Just a remnant......
One day whilst massaging my groin next to my balls, my mom noticed me doing this quite a bit. I said it was sore, the glands in my groin, that is.
Well, she whisked me off to the doctor, who listened and said OK, up on the bench. Then he told me to pull down my pants, which I did. Noooo, the underpants too please! I heard rumbling chatting and every now and then the word circumcised came up. I remember my mom voicing her opposition in no uncertain way too!
I was prescribed a powder to put on (which felt nice!) and duly instructed to wash now twice a day, mornings and evenings. Which I didn't do, only evening baths....
When I got infections again, I would just put some more powder on for 2 or 3 days and bingo!
I still wanted to have my foreskin circumcised! But when the subject was broached with my parents (loathingly by them) I was told in no uncertain terms that you do not go around cutting off pieces of your body unnecessarily. Unless you're Jewish in which case it is OK.....

Technically, you're right - to a small extent. However, unless you've just had a bath, an uncut penis will smell bad, taste awful, and be a general turn off for me. Showering or washing before play is great, yes, but it totally destroys spontaneity. I don't like to always know that my man is going to f*ck or seduce me in 15 min. I love it when we're out and he pushes me into the change room of a department store, under the table in a quiet upmarket restaurant or under the covers in overnight flights. I love doing the same to him. My 1st was uncircumcised. He was a cleanliness FREAK. Yet, 30 min after his 1st pee his penis smelled nasty! I don't do water sports, you see, so the smell of stale urine is always a turn off!

the vagina is an orifice(excuse spelling) all body holes have an odour to keep insects and foreign bodies out so its natural but being unhygienic is another story. Isome men think that becos their anatomy hangs outside the body and that they can just wipe n its cool. I have come across some vile penis odours. From about age 13, I so much liked the feeling and view of my penis when I had my foreskin retracted that I started to try and keep my foreskin permanently retracted. This was quite difficult to keep back for a while, because after a few moments of walking or climbing stairs, I could suddenly feel the foreskin sliding forward over the head to cover it again. But I would simply stick my hand into my pants as if adjusting, but to really pull the foreskin back again. After about two years of doing this, the foreskin would generally stay retracted behind the head.
