I strategies this conversation merely as a request that those that do have a certain preference stipulate it right up front. What's interesting is however the schools of thought that emerged. I come from a background of equal opportunity, apartheid regime has not affaires me at all and I grew up fairly mixed, I.e live, schools and work. However seeing some of the comments on here and how defensive some people get, I ca see why the fight is far from over. I'm not sure if it's merely white guilt that makes you defensive, or of it's hatred towards the current government that means you paint all "non-whites" with the same brush. Or is it merely a superiority complex. Lord knows why?! All that I do know is that we have a looong way To go clearly
As a non-white (involved but play alone) single, I can agree with most of what you have outlined. I never commit to something I can't follow through on, it's just common courtesy. I have frequented the club you speak of in the cape in the past and have been to couples parties, single day time play parties as well as couples and singles parties. For me the key is to go there not expecting to hook up, it's a sexy/sensual environment and being part of it should be enough. This motto has stood me in good stead as conversation flows better when you're not rushing expecting a fuck! Nobody likes pushy people...
Anyway Eish, I'm so sad that the stereotypes that exist amongst "my people" are true for the most part.

Firstly let me say "ITS OKAY" we all have preferences! But please can you just outline that in the first line of your write up/ad. So I've notice that Capetonians are far more liberal when it comes to accepting partners outside o their own race. Either that or they don't put it on their profiles. It's really a double edged sword for me. As a make who has had white girlfriends and partners it has not even been an issue. Or maybe it has something to do with going to a multi racial school etc. So I appreciate that you put your preference on your profile, it certainly helps us who were interested steer clear.
