Chances are we'll like the look of most couples we approach, and hope they are interested in us too.  So if we apply that logic to receiving interest surely we can only expect what we believe is expected of us:

A personalised contact, referencing import aspects of the profile to show we have read, and respect, its boundaries and fantasies.

Not pitch to couples who's profile is clear on criteria which don't include us.

Remember always it's cool just to be considered, and once that point is reached it is all in the hands of the others.

So why not let's aim to give what we seek to receive first eh??
