Feb 2024 Update:

I have settled into a comfortable rut here by the dam in Hartbeespoort. My plan for a British escape from ESKOM's disconnected intent, has been thwarted by a diabolical exchange rate colliding with a UK cost of living crisis and a lack wanting to join the queue for Visas. So much for my perma summer,

On a positive note the last person leaving won't have to switch lights off, Cyril and his comrades have got that covered. So here is to #Localislekker, cheap but excellent red wine and the best dam swinging couples in the world.
