Hi,
Im new to this site. I received a message from a supposed profile holder saying that she had looked at my profile and could not I please send so and so a mail and I should please not contact her via the site. I later went back to see the message and found that it had been deleted. Thats right! Some how deleted from my own in box. I then went to look at all those who viewed my profile and found that she hadn't even viewed my profile. Now I got a bit suspicious and did a profile search by user name, turns out there are like five or so similar profile names with same age, same area, same stats and also the same lack of information and photos. It almost definitely the same person.
This has given me the creeps and am considering deleting my account. Anyone have the same thing? Probably aimed at guys.
Hi Lance,
Yip, this is a fairly regular occurrence, it wasn't perhaps from "Joy...." was it? "She" is very persistent!! The moment you see "please contact me on my private email address, I want to know more about you", just know that they are scamsters. You should have a "report" button below the message, which you just click on, their presence is brought to Admin's attention in that way, and their "dodgy profile" gets deleted....
Don't let them put you off!
If the Mods have time, i report that profile on Friday morning and this morning she was stil avtive
Redbruce its good to know its been noted. Pitty about this element. I been chattin and havin fun since. Thanks for the responses guys.
Yip, received another one just yesterday, copied and pasted below... They just don't stop!
"Compliment of the day to you . I am Olive by name, I am sending this brief letter to seek for your friendship, I would like you to reach me at my email address ( ) i will send my photo to you and tell you more about me, i wait for your soonest reply, have a nice day.
(Remember love doesn't have an age limit)"
It is only because you are such a hunk
Only I don't need a chick, ma keeps me busy
Hi do not reply to those pvt email addresses. Its a scam and they use your email to get into your accounts. They send these inbox messages on facebook and other sites as well. Be safe guys. Have a good day.
If you reply to those messages, very soon you find yourself sending money to West Africa via paypal... It is all a branched off form of the popular 419 scams. I am very surprised that some people still fall for their cons, but believe it or not, many do...
I am a billionaire didn't you know? I have won the U.K. Lottery about 20 times in the last year! And inherited millions more from people I have never met... Lol!
