I started something similar a while ago for the Gauteng area. The Forum post (under the Anything Goes section) was titled "Gauteng Accommodation For Short Term Daytime Rental". In it, as LeeEC has pointed out, we did not provide the name or contact details of the establishment, but just the area in which it occurs, and a short description, so that folks could decide if it was the kind of place that they were looking for. If they wanted to make use of the facility, they could then contact the author of the post by PM, and get name / address / phone number.
That information has helped out a few people, that I know of.
Someone actually suggested at the time that it would be a good idea if someone did something similar for Cape Town. Good luck with your endeavour!

OK thanks. Yes I suppose one would need an establishments permission to list here.
I'll have to think of another way to get info with out giving the names and stuff. Maybe there could be way where the actual places could list themselves? But then how does one verify that it is the business or some other person?? Oh well word of mouth will have to do for now.

I suggest that you (publicly) invite people to contact you (privately) and let you know about suitable venues that they may know about. You (or they) could then provide the type of generic description here that does not give away the name or contact details of the establishment, and interested parties would then need to contact the person who has the information, to get the details. That way, the service is provided to the community that needs it, without direct mentioning or advertising of the establishment and contravening SH rules.
