Read the Forums, nothing ever happens, well once that I know off
Nobody to blame but it is a logistical problem to get 2 people together never mind more
I had one dogging experiance and that was arranged by me
Isnt dogging supposed to happen spontaneously?
Reminds me when we were kids we would go to the lover spots and check out the cars

He isn't asking to meet up with anyone the wants to "learn more about" it.
I am in no position to answer said question but apparently those of you who are actually into the scene are not interested in making any effort answer the question he actually put forward to start with!
I keep telling people to come and participate in the forums because they can get their questions answered and meet cool people...

This forum post seems to be going in two directions, and both of them are right!
MattLeeEC is quite right, no-one has actually addressed your question! If you go to the grey menu bar at top of page, there is a "Dogging" tab to right of "Forum". Clicking on that tab will get you to a couple of pages where there is a bit of basic info about what dogging IS, and some information about potential venues or places that folks think might make suitable venues (and most of these are the "lovers' lanes/spots" that Voyer is talking about). So there is a bit of basic info available to you on the site. Also, maybe go to the "Stories" tab on the menu, and then type the search word "dogging" in the search box, which should pull up all the stories about dogging that have been written and posted here. And, also obviously, check all the Forum posts about "dogging".
As Voyer has suggested, in it's original and purest form, a la UK style, dogging is probably supposed to be a spontaneous activity, where a couple who want to be watched having sex, and might be prepared to allow other strangers to join in with them, would go to an acknowledged or potential "dogging spot" and start doing it, and the dogger "watchers" appear out of the shadows or out of their cars and start watching and get to join in if allowed to. Unfortunately, in RSA, if a "watcher" walks up to a car where a couple are doing their thing, he might easily run the risk of being shot at, or at best the couple drives off in a serious hurry!! Also, sex in public places here could be quite a risky activity, with risk of mugging or or worse if the "wrong" type of people start to get involved. And so dogging here is probably best and safest when "organised", so that the exhibition couple and the watchers / prospective "joiners" at least know where they will be, and also ideally who to be looking out for. And so you will see a number of "who's up for some dogging at ...?" posts on the forum, and even more "yes, I'm keen" / "count me in" / "just let me know, I'll be there" responses. The problem with most of these posts is that they are very "general" posts, and seldom contain specific information about a venue or even a particular day. But there is also good reason for that, in that the Forum section of this website can be accessed and read by any member of the public (not necessary to be a member of the site - check it out - don't log in, and see how far you can get), and that could also include the cops who could read about the proposed meet, pitch up at the venue in plain clothes, and arrest all participants!.. So it's probably best to respond to a general "who's keen for some dogging in Boksburg?" with a message rather than a forum response, as any further detail about arrangements (venue, date, time, car description, etc) will then be limited to you and the person with whom you are communicating.
I suspect that there is a lot more actual dogging (RSA style - i.e. "arranged") happening than would appear from reading the forum, but it comes about as a result of taking the trouble to communicate with folks individually and personally. And also there is probably not much incentive to report back after the initially posted "I'll be at Virginia Beach between 6 and 8 on the 27th" with a detailed report - "two couples and three single males arrived, and we all had sex with each other...", if it did actually turn out that way! From the forum it is evident that there is a lot of frustration that many of the initiatives end up going nowhere, but at the end of the day, dogging is dependent on having a willing couple or female participating, and this site seems to be a bit over-populated with single males looking for some action...
