I haven't found the forum till yesterday, so hopefully things get a little better, its just that the people from PE are not nearly as open minded and free spirited as people from Cape Town and other places

We maybe create a PE and surrounds thread and them personally invite people by private mail, from that area to come and join the discussion.

Well, part of the problem is that the first two profiles that wrote on this topic are deleted. sad
The_OneEC and XheatX are now, no one! :dry:
1) PE People greatly have a lack of endurance.
2) They want others to do the work.
3) PE Swingers don't want to share ideas. If they don't find you shag worthy, they don't want to talk to you.
4) They are skittish, if you ask them to prove they are real, you just get the silent treatment. They expect you to go and wait for them in a coffee shop without sufficient info of whom you going to meet.
That said, we're not so scared to be seen in these circles anymore, so sigh us up.

Well, some people in this lifestyle like parties and group events, but some prefer not to participate in those kind of events. But just because it's not my scene doesn't mean we're boring or "fake" it just means is rather not be at a party smile

"Fakes, Cons, Time & Money wasters" is a different thread Lee.
Again, my first concern is that people don't want to make the effort to keep their profiles going let alone an event.
Also they don't want to interact. How do you get a party going like that?

I think your first statement: 'You haven't organised anything yet', is still the most valid and ties in with mine about people wanting others to do the work.
Therefore if we can come up with a plan, I'll help arrange it.

So here is the idea - what about a sexy get together/party on Friday 28th...couples only?. Can be a bring and braai or everyone just bring a plate of snacks and own drinks. The theme/dress code is sexy so she dress sexy to the extreme. All attendance should be confirmed on here before Friday 28/11/14 at 15h00...a password to enter can be emailed or sms'd to everyone who confirm attendance by latest 16h00 on Friday.
* What we need to confirm today is a host/venue (address to be emailed with password). So let us start there....anyone willing to host?

Sorry about that Forever_sixteen - That was a bit of an eventful time though - we had 5 DIRECT invitations for that night smile The best way to go about organising a party is to send invitations to actual members directly. Popping a post on the forum is ineffective at best; because there are like 3 members who use the forums in the EC area and most of them aren't in PE (incl us!). You can also ask your invitees to extend your invite to one (single/couple) of their own swinging connections as well (if you want to ensure that they are genuinely swingers, make it conditional that they must have played with them in order to invite them). People don't really respond to open adverts for parties in EC - don't really know why - they're more inclined to accept an invitation that is sent to THEM (it makes them feel like the invitee list is being moderated and selected rather than being part of a rent-a-crowd) Also if your meet is anything other than social you HAVE to meet your people BEFORE you invite them. There are a lot of oddies in the EC. Once you have your list - create a group on email; BBM; or Viber, keep in contact and organise at least one social get together using your mailing list every 8 to 12 weeks and slowly expand your mailing list (forming something that is independent from SH or any other site)- when you've got enough - open your club :)
