but Most clubs are open to anyone.
Group meetings is run by their *owner* who sends out invites to members.
But you are also free to ask to join...but be prepared to be ignored or rejected with out taking it personally...Groups is very selective
You could also start your very own group and organize socials or play just need to state what your interests are and then be very active, for couples and singles to want to join your group.
