:banghead::banghead::mad: It was a really nice day event to meet old friends and new friends at The glen here in Capetown and for once I was off to be able to join in the fun.
BUT...
Here I stand once AGAIN with my hat in my hand,apologizing to everyone,and specially to Magic Hands and his lady who organized the event.
Sorry, for not pitching up at the get together at The Glen.
L and I was just getting ready to leave, The car was packed with 2 chairs and a tiny cooler with One beer for L and some Coke for sun hat and Chinese hand fan and the camera *just incase*.That was 14h00 as I did not want to be there first,I prefer to be a little late.
When the doorbell rang and there stood her twin and hubby!!! A First,they were in Cape Town and decided to come for coffee,before heading home to Gordon`s bay. Well coffee was no problem,but when they heard we are on our way out,they wanted to know where we were going with chairs and a cooler.....
OH BOY!!!! So I said we were going to Melkbos beach to watch the sea and people,just L`s sister said they have not been there for ages,and it sounds if it could be fun.
So 2 more chairs were grabbed and everything loaded up in their big 4x4 and off we went....
Man oh Man..... What a waste of my time!!!!! So there we sat, in front of the car,drinking coke and the people and the sea while the wind was blowing!!! And the sun baking warm down on us.
Later L and her sister went for a LONG walk on the beach, me and the hubby sat dozing and *relaxing*
Not really talking.I think they could see I was sulking.
We ate at a little restaurant ,at least the food was good.
And we only got home after 18h00...
Then it was to late to ride through...to the Glen.
Sorry guys seems fate has it in for me.....maybe a next time.
