To all of you who read the forums, but never or almost never, comment in the threads: What would you like to see discussed in the forums? Maybe this way, the more regular contributors could come up with ideas for threads.
I think we need a more work friendly forum, like a separate site minus the swinging title etc so we can encourage more discussions during the day

Mike, I think they call that FACEBOOK . . . . rotflmao:rotflmao:
You asked the question so here's the answer, time for a bit of honesty. I check the forums every time I log on to the site, irrespective of how many times I've logged on that day. so why don't i comment. Well, quite simply i don't feel like getting involved in a forum where the so called regulars, are aggressive towards those who don't agree with them, hijack posts that they feel don't belong on the site and feel the need to not only comment on every single thread but on every single comment made, where debate is replaced by instruction. If a thread is of no interest to you, why not leave it to those who may be interested or let it die its natural death. There is no debating, there is only the opinion of the regulars and the attempted humiliation and/or personal attacks on the rest. The problem is not topic related, I believe more people could be encouraged to start and comment on threads, if only the environment was a little less hostile. Why would people want to get involved in this? Well there it is, I'm fully aware that I'm going to get lambasted, but I don't really care. After months of hearing people complain about the same thing, someone has to call it as it is.

Right,
So I think somewhere along the line, I have been referred to as a so called "regular".
While I do not completely agree with the way you see things Mike (obviously I would not, as I am on the receiving and dishing out ends) I would like to propose the following to the other so called "regulars"
This is not the first time it has been suggested that this forum 'belongs' to a select few (one of my motivators for this thread)
It has even been suggested before (in round about ways) that we should give others a chance.
So let's do just that, how about we cut back on the amount of "contribution" we make to the threads and "let others" make all the contributions for a while.
Stamina, what say you and I only "speak kak" in a specific thread, say the old BS Forum, and completely refrain from any humorous, or off topic comments in other threads? ie: no thread-jacking
I am as involved in these threads on this site because I thoroughly enjoy it, and actually learn things from time to time, even if it is just about peoples inner workings.
That is why i sit in the corner, Mike_ you have my vote on this one.
Different people are on this site for different reasons. If you are contributing in the Forum... go for it! If you just want to read.. be my guest.. Those who are inclined to answer will do so.. If you are already participating, then standing back is exactly the wrong thing to do as a few weeks of that would kill the Forum. People will join in if they are inclined to, so I say carry on as you were. lol
After reading MIKE_`s comment, I have to agree with him. I am MYSELF most certainly guilty of quite a few of his comments. Hi-jacking a forum Giving instructions Sometimes being impolite towards others Always answering and commenting on topics. BUT to throw it all on the so called *REGULARS* fault is also not right. People comment and are either abusive towards the site, or a topic or just being negative. I can just agree with Ryan71 EACH TO HIS OR HER OWN. DO what is enjoyable for you and what you like on this site. Just as some people in the forums, People hardly ever goes into chat because just like here(fora`s)there is a FEW REGULAR people who although always polite and welcoming to Me, is not always that welcoming to other new people who tries to become a REGULAR,that is why there is 125 and and an overflow into other chat-rooms of people who only LURK never saying anything. That is when I do log in to check to see who is online. Will we ever be satisfied with anything?? I do not think so... But with the politic`s and people who thinks the site belongs to just them and things must always just go accordingly to them, I am also getting tired. We ALL SEEM TO FORGET that we are people with different views and opinions and lives and culture and backgrounds. here we try and overcome that difference As the nice new lady VampEC said to SDMR, opinions differ and we all have our say is that NOT WHY there is a ANYTHING GOES FORUM after all? If a fora is upsetting or becoming abusive is that not a reason to LOCK such a fora??
I have very nice nipples for a man I think...
@ Stamina...you stirring HUH??????? How is the genital area?? Obviously you have not read the fora`s on using hair removal creams....there were quite a few!!!:giggle::giggle:
So since posting this thread, there has been 92 views and 10 replies: Just to bring to your attention: Of the 10 replies, not a single one was responding to the original thread ie: what would you like to see discussed in the forums. Instead the thread was thread-jacked and the only responses, were about what people do not want, and what their feelings were about certain contributors. And seeing as I posted the thread, and Stamina refrained from posting, we cannot be blamed for the thread-jack.

Sorry... Was just feeling them while reading the posts and it popped into my head... lol
How about the do's and don'ts of swinging? No doubt it has been discussed before, but it is site related and informative.
Hmmmm.... you may have exhibited your debating ability and possibly made your point... but also proved everyone else correct as to why they don't participate in the discussion. wink

Well despite my fellow nappy wearer exhibiting certain traits, I take comfort in the fact that it was neither him nor I who thread-jacked it first.
Now back to original intention,
Thank you VampEC1 for your suggestion, I have created a thread.
Does anyone else have suggestions?
There are some folks that prefer to just read forum posts are shy or reluctant to post

Hello! I see the missed all the action last night! Just wanted to say that I quite enjoy that there are regulars posting on the Forum, and people with strong opinions, and yes, lots of high-jacking and stirring!!! That's what makes it FUN!!!
Fun last night?? What fun - everyone I know was fast asleep smile
Damn I missed it as well if there were, and I did not have internet connection,at work...as I used up all my gigs.....doing downloads during the night while at work, the past Easter Weekend.
I for one, as a single man would like to know what couples seek in a single male. I send non sexual messages introducing myself and then send album invites at their requests and then never hear from them again. Now much is often been said about single males yet no matter your age, race etc that a no thank you is common courtesy. I agree mutual attraction is key but a simple no thank you wont hurt anyone.
You are quite right of course - manners cost one nothing... and yet seem to be sorely lacking
