Hi, I have tried shaving, ended up with ingrown hairs, I used Veet and Nair, burnt myself. What do guys do. I have had some guys smoother then us girls.
Waxing was the way to go for me. No in growing hair, no hard beard when hair starts growing again, they are softer. Takes a few days before the new hair starts growing again. BEST of all do it for long enough and the hair gets less and less. But it takes getting used to as it is painful and Yeah, if you are shy kinda person first time in a salon can be difficult. If you have the money and time,A few ladies here on site says, Laser Hair removal is the best If you scroll back in the forums you will find all the info you might need in the *then* forums. Currently Now that I am older, I have decided that nicely trimmed for an elderly person like myself is the way to go,as I need to hide my ugly ermmmmmms.....BUT not a little *Hitler mustache*.......just trimmed all over.
any guy who can wax his sack, is very lucky. I found it causes too much damage to the skin. Veet burns the skin and that only leaves the option of shaving.
I am not into international politics but... "George BUSH" is not so bad. lol
Ok - so I shaved a while and hated the side effects.... til I read in a magazine or a forum or somewhere to shave WITH the grain (in the direction the hair grows) Solved all my ingrown hair problems.... then there's stuff called Vaya in PnP that further reduces redness, itchiness etc. But I expect the one other option, though it'll take a while, like waxing, to get used to: Epilators You can get them at Clicks, but it's basically a row of electric tweezers... so gonna be at least as painful as waxing... maybe more.... no idea - never tried it. A friend of mine (on SH) has gone for permanent laser hair removal - takes a while and cost some bucks, but apparently she's super happy with the results. PS if you're burning yourself with Veet and Nair then you're a) using the wrong one - use the bikini and or sensitive versions only! OR b) you're leaving it on too long! Start with half the recommended time and then test the status every 2 minutes (if you have very sensitive skin - every 1 min) from there, and remove as soon as the hair effortlessly wipes away from the skin OR your skin starts to redden. If your skin is too sensitive to hold out til the hair wipes away then this way (removal creams) is definitely not for you. Also you'll find the different brands are different on your skin so try Mandy's and NoHair - and other brands if you can find them (find a friend who has some and just test it on your skin).
Waxing and Laser are my preferences! Shaving just doesn't work for me, and my skin is too sensitive for the hair removal creams. I went for Diode laser hair removal, which worked wonderfully on my mons, but not as well on my outer labia... after 6 sessions of the diode laser hair removal, there was no further improvement... and I still have a few hairs that need to be taken care of! I just haven't had the time or energy to look for a new laser therapist nearby! Any recommendations near Linksfield/Edenvale? I also wax K, which is great fun for me! The only problem we have is that the scrotum doesn't wax as well as the rest of the area does.. But I am happy with our current results smile ;) C
Hi all! New here! Waxing for me definitely! Hair gets less and softer the more you wax!
I've lost enough skin off my nose to assure you that shaving and Veet does not work down there on a lady. Waxing is great but if laser is an option I'm sure it will be the best.
