I have a quiet chuckle to myself every time someone uses one of the "bi" definitions to describe themselves. This is mainly due to the fact that I believe you are either bi or you are not (in the case of "not" you are either straight or gay/lesbian), however, these definitions are quite useful when used correctly in a profile.
FYI:
Bi = being physically attracted to both genders (please note that this does not mean for example that a bi female will want to have sex with EVERY other woman, just because she is bi!)
Bi-comfortable = being comfortable with someone of the same gender as you, performing sexual acts on you, however, you are not attracted to folk of the same sex and are therefore not willing to reciprocate their sexual favors. (Basically means you are self-centered and are only concerned with your own physical pleasure.....just kidding....
)
Bi-curious = someone who has never been sexual with a same sex partner, however, the idea is attractive to them and they would like to have the experience at some point (a "virgin" in terms of same sex experiences :twisted: )
One CANNOT be described as bi-curious after you have had a same gender sexual experience!
Sadly, there seem to be a number of female partners of couples who are listed as one of the bi definitions, however, after chatting you are quick to realize that they have no interest at all in other women and that their "classification" is merely a ploy to appear more attractive to potential play mates OR to appease their male partner's fantasy.
I often get asked if I'm REALLY bi.....and I understand why this is a common question. BTW My response is:" Ï'm not 100% sure...I think I'm more of an equal opportunist - I was married to a man for 7 years, after which I lived with a woman (my ex) for just over 8 years before I found my soul mate Mr Nawty. Do you think I'm bi??? :lol: "
I would like to hear of your experiences re the "bi"folk on this site?
