Frustrated again with people on this site... But this time because of a couple (or maybe one of the two) confusing the hell out of me!
I contact a very new profile. A couple in an "open" relationship where either partner plays alone as well as together. Looking for just about anything. Even single guys! So I send a message complimenting the profile and the interesting write up. No rules, so a profile that has my attention. I state clearly how much I like the profile. I then get a wink back??? Funny reply but anyway. I send another message saying that a wink requests me to view the profile and say what I think... I did that in my first message. So I assumed the newbies do not know that a wink is an actual message with text involved.
I get a message back a few minutes later. "I would love to chat", and a cell number for . I log off, open my and send a message saying its me from the site. Next message is her telling me her name. I ask how her day is... Etc. Goes quiet. A few minutes later, I ask another polite question: When did you join SH?... Still quiet for another few minutes, then a message back: "Sorry babe, you not my type"... WTF??!! Two sentences after a greeting message was enough for her deduce that I am not her type? Why send me a cell number and ask to chat just to politely tell me f off?? What the hell do most people actually want here? Seriously, what are we here for specifically? To fuck each other, or fuck each other around?????

Yes we had many weird experiences too.
You have to keep in mind that what we do is on the fringe of the current human experience.
Most Vanilla people are happy to do as mamma taught them, i.e. Get divorced and redo, or cheat to build up their résumé of sex partners.
Although many profiles state whites only need apply, the reality is that most people here are white anyway.
In short less than 1 in 500 eligible white people (way sell for the rest of the demographic) are doing this for real and we all have our issues. Regardless of how gung ho we may appear to be.
Also, Single guys really have to impress or be lucky, to get lucky.
One unimpressive move at the wrong time can make you lose out.
Us couples, even here in PE, seem to be having growing success though but we still have many miss fires.

I was a member for a week. Met a "girl" on here, MissLegs was the profile at the time. There is another profile by that same name but be assured not the same person. The first one was deleted back then... But before that... This "hot girl" contacted me, arranged a meet that same day near to where I live, around the corner actually at a nice coffee shop. There was a condition though. I had to shag her gay friend first and then I could have her. So I politely declined... 5 times! Then later that day, I was in the chatroom and "she" whispered me. Said that its fine, I do not have to do the gay friend and just me and her will be great for her. Meet back on for an hour later. I went. Along came a drag queen! I do not hit "girls" (lol) so I just left but believe this, she / he followed me out to my bike, begging me for some "action" loud in broad daylight for all to see!
I laugh at it now but what a freaky experience!

I have to disagree here. I have met many many awesome couples and people on this site. An played with them as well.
Different strokes for different folks. Many couples and singles I chat to and play with are not into the club scene. Some find it intimidating. I my self have never been to a club. But have had many experiences swinging.
@scorpio69 if it's such a waste, perhaps there is another reason you are here?
Going back to the topic now, I agree. There are a number of strange couples, singles, people in general. But the way I see it, strange is what makes each one of us unique, is it not?
I have had strange experiences here, but I have also had strange experiences with women outside if swinging. I had a woman at my gym beg for my number, she sent me a message that same night and the conversation was non existsnt. So........ I don't believe these occurances are limited to this site, any other site or a specific environment. It can happen anywhere.

@Np - to my knowledge there are none. Not that we are interested in going to any but I get asked that question all the time and I've yet to find a single one. There was a couple I chatted to who told me of their intent to open one in the Tsitsikamma area but no news yet.
Clubs that do exist are private, exclusive to a particular group and invitation only. So not advertised and not widely known about. Sheer luck when it comes to invites.
There are a few people who have parties from time to time but most of them are either meet and greet level or arrive naked wearing a mask level and nothing in between. .. so when are you opening your club?

Starting our own thing....mmm We did think about it but in PE it would be doomed.
We did offer to help host a part under: Forum - Club Meets - Why is EC so boring.?
but no one else has stepped forward. Sadly of the 7 profiles that posted there only yours and ours are still active.
Why are PE people so uncommitted? Here, eager one day and gone the next. Weird!
