So lets talk about age and our minds!
Ever had the Alzheimer problem?? I seem to have it in buckets loads these days!!!!
I invited a gent who is coming from JHB for a few days, to have dinner with me and Lynette last night...and what happens WE ate that nicely cooked dinner ALONE!!
You guys will ask HOW in the world that happened??
As I do NOT invite anyone or meet anyone new anymore,or that is what I always say.
Let me tell you guys IT is NOT the GENT who bailed on me, IT IS ME and my failing mind!!!
Lucky he phoned when he realized I was expecting him last night. What a gent and he does have a very SEXY telephone voice!! I nearly swooned listening to him talk!!!!
Last month I had an appointment to with a gent and HIS PENIS ,only to confuse him and me with telling him he is wrong on dates...JUST to be reminded that I have the dates wrong....on 3 separate occasions!!!!!!
So the end results is
I NEVER got to play with his nice penis!!!!!!
And NOW again last night...
I love L`s cooking , she ,I think is the best cook ever!!! The menu was as follows...
Cradock *skaap boud* baked in the oven to perfection.
Baked potatoes
Kaboe mielies( heck do not know what that is called in english....
Brown rice
Sweet potatoes with butter and sugar made to a perfect Sweet style *boere* veggie.
Salty carrots (mixed with potatoes)
And green beans (Boere style)
With a baked Malva pudding and custard as pudding.
THE results of my Alzheimer brain...being confused and forgetful....The poor gent will have to do with a Potluck meal when he does come to dinner NEXT week...the above menu is not going to be done all over again....as it is, we will be eating this for the next 2 days, there is just way to much I REFUSE TO eat the same next week.
Soo...anyone who does get to meet me, be advised to always check me and my confused BRAIN:banghead::banghead:
