Seen many ladies describe themselves as “Sapiosexual” I have never encountered a single male use this in their profile to describe themselves.

A sapiosexual is someone who is primarily attracted to intelligence or intellectual qualities in others. Additionally, sapiosexuals may prioritize mental and emotional connections over physical attraction when it comes to forming relationships or being attracted to others.

Practically speaking how does this play out with an encounter with a fellow swinger? I’m curious to find out more from those who see themselves as one.

Watching for replies with much anticipation.

I know of many men that are Sapiosexual, most only realise it when they meet an intelligent woman they are sexually attracted to as well.

Good question jimmy. But of more practical interest to me - sapiosexuals, how would one charm you with a swinger site profile? Is simply saying you are also a sapiosexual good enough or are there specific pics you look for? e.g. reading a (pretentious 😜) book on a beach or an academic qualification in the background.

In a word - "WORDS".

They are the only tool you have on a forum.

Intelligence is highly visual. Not in a "Show me your tits" way but in a 5 dimensional space/time continuum manner. Your words need to create the picture. To describe Van Gogh, and the way a shark glides, and the depths of the Milky Way, and a drop of rain in the dust. You need to understand Mark Twain's, "I'm writing you a long letter because I didn't have time to write you a short letter" - so it's going to take lots of words.

But there's more. Intelligence lives in multi-dimensional worlds. So your words have to create the sounds, smells, movements, touch and taste of life. An olfactory orchestra of movement and touch. More words, lots more words.

And then you need to be smart. As Oscar Wild said on Arriving in America, "The only thing I have to declare is my genius". So add some wit. More words.

And empathy, and understanding, and inquisitiveness, a slightly naughty side, a long term vision and a willingness to risk it all (read "If"). And 10,000 hours - "My overnight success only took 25 years".

And more words.

Mmmmmm and the results of words can be orgasmic to say the least. 🔥 Especially when beautifully spoken in an eloquent, intense voice or written with passion. Never underestimate the power of the mind. It is the most powerful sex organ after all 😏

Does this mean that you, yourself are a Sapiosexual?

Intelligence is not a linear thing. It’s dynamic & varied!!

Did you just cum in your brain or in your pants?! I appreciate your focus on intellect and mental connection as key components of attraction. It's refreshing to engage with someone who values stimulating conversations and deep connections. Looking forward to exploring our intellectual chemistry further!

Hey, this is the first time I've thought of women as referring to themselves a sapiosexual.

Gay male here consider myself as "sapiosexual" not found any takers :-(

There is a first for everything but I never figured you a virgin lol

Damn Ranger,

You could be the Mark Twain or Oscar Wilde of our generation....

As a proud card carrying sapiosexual male since my early teens, I've never come across a better description, nor how to genuinely engage a true fellow sapiosexual person, regardless of their gender.

I have taken the liberty of saving your immortal description and plan on sharing it with the entire human race if possible. ALWAYS making sure to give credit where credit is due - so always attributing your words as your own. Any person who falsely tries to impress by claiming that lyrical description - like a gently flowing, crystal clear mountain stream hidden deep in a mystical forrest, will very quickly be unmasked as the great pretender and fraud that they are, following that Shakespearian work of literature of yours.

It brings John Milton, especially "Paradise Lost" to mind. And I don't think many will argue with me if I rate you as a peer and equal of Shakespeare and Milton with that poetic description of yours.

Even as I'm finishing this inadequate ode to your masterful use of "WORDS" , your words continue to echo through my mind for the pure artistry that lies within them.

Thought provoking topic.

Had me thinking of the many a profile Ive come across claiming apparent sapiosexuality but offering zero evidence of it, very often instead leaving an impression of the opposite in fact.

Honestly, considering the ideal of sapiosexuality, isnt one contradicting themselves by feeling a need to state that they are sapiosexual on their profile to ward off those they dont want the attention of, but then, leaving it at that, saying/adding nothing of actual interest for the sapiosexuals they claim to be interested in and wanting to connect with?

That's why I enjoy the chat room...how people portray themselves...its not just about a sexual encounter,to me it's more about the events and chemistry leading up too it.
