Weve been to Sandy Bay recently but we are disappointed that there seem to be very few (more often none) couples. are there times when couples are on the beach?

Hi Guyz. Youre right. Also not a lot of ladies. I think people are concerned about safety. Unfortunately, rightly so. SOOO many single men, when you do arrive with a lady you suddenly have a swarm of men around. Anyway, still my favourite beach!

Is Sandy bay still around, I remember as a youngster, 50 years ago, the idea was so erotic but we were not allowed to go there and a bit later when I was married my wife would not allow it

Well also was there many moons ago...possibly it was winter as I saw nobody...was exiting to get there as it was a bit of a climb.... My only time near Capetown was still driving tour with my cruiser when I hit the spot..ended up in Capetown at Cape point later the evening..

Sandy Bay is there and YES there is lotsa people that I know , who is also here on site,who goes frequently. I heard it is sometimes dangerous when you a single woman on her own. Also heard from a gent last year,who went with his girlfriend ,who found the single men very unpleasant (they were openly masturbating in front of the lady, and they felt very uncomfortable)...so they went home. But I heard it is a nice spot if you are a lot of people for safety reasons. I myself have never been, not do I plan to ever go.

Tel me about that,with my knee replacement I had last year and one happening maybe later this year, I will not climb anywhere. I do however go for walks on the straight sandy beaches of Blouberg and Strand.

I mostly they are ok, at least where I am, us elderley people take out excersise there, nice and scenic, otters, birds and Leguans to see
