Sandy Bay

Just out of curiosity was there any SH members at Sandy Bay today. I was there and I wondered how many of the people on the beach may be on SH

We were there on Thursday.

We have been considering going to Sandy Bay for some time, but have heard of some unpleasant experiences. How did you find the day? We do however have a few spots that we frequent where it is quite secluded and we are 9 times out of 10 alone. Just takes careful placement of our beach tent and a eye out in case we need to cover up for walkers.

There a nudies beach out Tableview not many people you stay in the dunes and no problems ,Stopped going to Sandy Bay for some time ,used to go every day, Not worth the dive anymore

There will always be guys but the big beach is very big so it’s easy to find a spot out of the eye. You can’t stop people walking by. Nobody has been a bother though in the sense of being a pervert and those walkers just walk by.

OK. We generally go out Hangklip way. There are a few lovely quiet beaches past the Hangklip Hotel, also out towards Bettys Bay. Another favourite for us is under the bridge at Steenbras River Mouth. Very entertaining watching the cars do a double take when they potentially catch a glimpse of breasts. 😂

We live out that way. For us Sandy Bay is a bit of a distance! 🤣

Oh yes naturally. It’s a shame that we have such few spots considering how much potential the Cape has.
