you are truthful in your description

Not a rant, just an observation. Many users describe themselves as either slim or athletic and are nowhere near that description......I try and be critical of my personal description and so also expect others to be. Your thoughts?
Been discussed... I agree with you that people lie here but you are now going to hear that people perceive body shape differently.
I figure I have nothing to hide. When you do meet someone they going to see you as you are. I also tend to be more critical when describing myself. @Stamina: yes people do see shapes differently. And I don't have a problem if it's a little bit off (note...a little!). I also think it's misrepresentation if someone says athletic and they're a big couch potato.
And its not like they aren't going to figure it out and probably be just a little bit peeved when they do. Is just doff to misrepresent. ..

I dont think one should have this pole... The person must be truthful as far as possible in his description in order to get to know people for who they are. So what if some people see themselves more attractive than what others do, everybody has a small desire to feel important in some or other way.
I do see your concern... but not sure if it will help you improve your relations in the long run..
