Yesterday SA made news once again , for being the first ever country to transplant a Penis.
Just like so many many years ago when Dr C Barnard transplanted a heart.
Nowadays heart transplants are not new or a rarity!!
Also we all KNOW that yesterdays penis transplant was a medical intervention, NOT an ego boost thingie...
BUT a PENIS .................... this made me sit up and take notice..
And it opened up a floodgate of things to think about.
Who in the world donated a penis??? or his genitals for that matter??
How many men with their so called penis issues will NOW rush to have a penis transplant just to be BIGGER more likely like ladies having breast in-plants to be more attractive.
How does penises get graded to be transplanted??
and it makes me wonder if this so call transplant will WORK normally??

Seems this *penis transplant issue* is way to controversial to give comments here in the fora.
so far I have received really nice comments via mail,
I have been informed that the gent is as normal as can be.....he is urinating normally and he has erections
One person told me they did the transplant in December and the gent was only to expected to have an erection 2 years after the transplant BUT that he already had intercourse,thus the transplant was a huge success, That is why they told the world about the transplant.
Now that you guys KNOW transplanted penises can operate normally, who is going to donate his penis for a transplant to some unlucky gent who is in need of one??

I somehow doubt though, that it will be a case of simply booking a transplant. It will only be done in medicaly required instances. (but then again, who really knows)

Two, the donation was from a dead guy like normal donations. But as with all donations there will be a black market as soon as the operation stabilises.
