Very much of a random question. Whats your favorite Genre of music. Name a couple of bands. Have you been to any good live shows of international or local acts. What music do you despise? Why? Im asking this purely out of curiosity Have Fun

I love music, I do everything even sex to music. I have a very eclectic taste in music. I like linkin park, sade, classical. I grew up with RnB and a little bit of local music. I can't stand Kwaito and also some house tracks. I like music that makes a person's hair on arms stand up. Words with meaning and tunes that make my ears, heart, body and soul sing!

Me I am a *Country* lady...I love country music, I most certainly DISLIKE classical music. I in fact like anything I can hear the words too, I love when my feet starts tapping on its own.... I love to sway my hips to music and sing along.

I also like different genres of music. My taste varies from house, r and b, rock, hip hop to classical. My favorite bands are Coldplay,was lucky to enough to attend their concert, U2, nirvana, skunk anansie, cranberries, alanis morisette, Avril lavigne, no doubt, drake,tupac,notorious b .i.g etc just to name a few. I even enjoy some Afrikaans music such as Kurt darren "meisie meisie", karen zoid "babe is jy nog lief vir my" and even that Sonja herold song about a train.

Myself. Im waaay more alternative by the looks of it. Die hard metallica fan. Enjoy all types of speed metal/punk. Will listen to folk and certain types of hip hop. Live concerts ive been lucky enough to see The offspring, NOFX, Staind, Fatbloy slim, Metallica , RHCP, Foo Foghters, seether and saron gas. SNG x4 . FPK, oddest show ive seen was skouspel. Very good....but odd

We have always been into the more alternative side of music...she's still a huge Black Keys fan, same with Interpol. I kinda stopped listening to metal...except Mastodon. Everything else started sounded generic. Really into punk now, and there are some really, really good hip hop out there...Jurassic 5, MF Doom, Jedi Mind Tricks, Cannibal Ox. We stay away from music that doesn't relay anything emotionally...be it anger, love, hope...like the great Mr. Hicks said...play from your f@cking heart! If I had to chose my top 3 bands with a gun to my head...Depeche Mode, Therapy? and Dir En Grey.
