Memory Lane

Took a walk down Nostalgia Boulevard. . . . remember the days when an opinion was simply an opinion? 

The days when being yourself was actually applauded? Instead of the current "be yourself, just differently" mind set of the world today? 

I blame social media. It gave everyone a little soapbox to cry out into the world...be it racist, homophobic crap...forcing religion onto others...or simple a desperate plea for ill deserved attention. Or maybe I'm just bitter and cynical. Wait, let me post and tweet it. :P
