A large number of the couple profile wright ups, have the opening sentence "happily married couple . . . . "!!!

I have not been part of a married couple in the lifestyle for some years now, so I am asking if anybody has some info on these words? To me, it seems like insecurities? Like one of the partners is not actually into this idea?

I think it means just that...they are married, happily, to each other. Sounds more like a confession that they are ok with the idea of swinging, and that they think the relationship is strong enough for that. Lol...sounds better than "Insecure and jealous couple"...

But I feel the same way about the term "professional couple"....professional in what? Your work? Wrestling? Deep sea diving? Sounds almost as vapid as the classic "upmarket couple". Come to think of it...happily married sounds pretty ok, lol.

i think its also a hint towards guys that only want the lady.

I wonder if any couples have experienced this?

Why even mention the word couple when its already showing that its a couple profile?

For once i agree but its habit. Similarly upmarket, educated, professional, as per local couple makes no sense but i think these words are postively connotated in the lifestyle.

yes you are very very right in what you said here.

some of the guys play with the cpls like once or twice for fun (as a 3som). then the guy thinks now he can play with the wife with out the husband been present. that is why we use the word happy married. we play as it is fun but once the invited guy thinks he can play with out the hubby been there then it is no more fun but only complicated.

in it for the fun not the complications
