Have the forums died

Is it just me or have the forums died. Prior to leaving about 2 years ago, these forums were alot busier.

What has happened to the regular contributors. I dont see LeeEC or pussandboots.

The forums have had a rapid decline in activity mainly because members that were active announced they'd be leaving. Most new members just look and move on but there are a couple of regulars that just aren't as active. Maybe they found a new home in the swinging community. Who knows, but one thing is for sure. If no new members show more interest in the forums. We're doomed...

Thats a shame. Whatever the views were that they held are irrespective, atleast they contributed.

If you look at the amount of views a post has vs comments......its really bad.

So true. I could name a couple users that have left that really contributed. I guess not all want to share their views for some odd reason. I guess all we can do is hope for more opinionated users...

Having been one of the very regular contributors of recent past, I would tell you a slightly different story as to why the forums died.

One of the reasons was simply that everytime somebody contributed something, they got shot down in flames and were accused of 'hi-jacking" a topic. Funny thing was though, those same members who complained about this were the first to complain when the forums were quiet.

There are countless reasons though . . . . . .

A typical "be yourself, just differently" situation . . . . . 

It seems though that those who complained have also left.

Hmm, I'm not sure.
Part of me thinks that we discussed most things to death, and then the forum died...

I check here regularly, in case there is a topic I am interested in, or where I have something to contribute. Most of the time, I have nothing to add to what has been said, so I just read and move on...

...and that's pretty much what I do as well, KC.  Contribute when I really feel I have something to say, but check through and take note of all that is being said!  I'm not much of a conversationalist...  So basically I'm still the lurker that I have been for years...

Once again my 2 cents worth:  I really did try my best to stimulate discussion here, sometimes I pushed the point just for the hell of it, unfortunately the response was almost non-existent, 268 views without a single comment etc, makes me not want to bother, it's not like I'm some kinda basement-dwelling xboxer with nothing better to do. We originally joined the site thinking that people open-minded about sex would be open-minded about life in general, unfortunately this does not seem to be the case, virtually nobody seems to have any sort of opinion about anything at all .................

Wolfman, most (not all) members on this site, have lots of opinions about lots of things, it seems however, that the majority only feel the need to share about certain topics. And of course any thing that can be complained about :violin:
