I am curious as why some of the profiles squares in the forum are grey and one cannot open that profile from a thread. Always wondered what that is about.
Stamina, from what I have seen, the Grey Profile squares are profiles that have ceased to exist, so they are no longer active (but their contribution on the forum remains visible). So they're pink, blue or green if the profile is active, a darker hue of the same colour if the profile is on line, and grey if the profile has been closed down.
Anyone else know anything different?
That's exactly how they work.
Oh, I see.. I thought the person was banned or blocked... thanks for info.
It's more likely that they have left and deleted their profile - banned and blocked profiles are actually left floating in limbo... weird but that's the way it is.
Banned or deleted members posts normally pop up " Oops this user no-longer exists " or something to that effect in any Forum post they've made when you select to view.
