Hi everyone I am a tad new to the site and certainly new to understanding lifestyle. The folk in the forums seem really nice, compared to the ones in the chatroom. There are nice folk over there too. Am I the only that finds it a bit clique-like. Or are the people that are posting to forums/chatting alot, just been here longer? Which is probably the case. Then there's still the Personals to get through. This is me saying Hi. I think I prefer being in the forums.

This is me saying Hi. I think I prefer being in the forums.

Both have their place.
For me, I prefer the forums and seldom go into the chat room. The forum opens the discussion to more people which can lead to more views / information.
I think I have looked through the personal's a handful of times since joining this site, I find them a tad "unrealistic"
I am not so sure that it is a case of people having been here longer, as I am sure there are people who are involved in forum discussions who are fairly new members. Nonetheless, welcome and I look forward to reading some of your opinions.
@ HostingCouple Welcome to Swing Heaven and the Forums. We are a nice bunch of people here, although we do differ in opinions and views, as it should be, to keep things interesting. Nice to get some new blood into the Forums, I for one went all out last year to get more people involved, but lately lack the energy in doing so. Lately things are little bit more and SDMR and Stamina is mostly the guys trying this last few months to keep things going.I just pop in to read these days, untill a subject catches my interest. Mostly us *oldies* already know how each other thinks about certain things. So you are more than welcome to blow new air into the forums!!! Newbies are always welcome. As for Chat and the Personals. I pop into Chat now and again!!! but I am easily bored to read all the *hello`s* being said and NO interaction really happening. As for the personals, well there I can not help as I never venture there! But it is interesting to read here in the forums about how everyone interpret and experience the *Personals*
Personally I prefer the forums. The topics are normally separated and it's easier to keep track of what you want to follow. I just wish the forums had a bit more activity. I think some people find posting on forums a little intimidating at first but once you get started you realise it's fairly basic, just sucks that last year we had a guy trying to make the forum unpleasant and we are still feeling the aftershock. However welcome to the forums and the site, I'm looking forward to your posts smile
I have met and chatted to some good people from the chat room however i still take part in the forums .the forums is more for information sharing (or at least it is for me).you gain meaningful perspectives on various topics here and tons of useful advise .you also find that a lot of other peoples posts are relevant to you so you don't feel alone or like a freak...(or like such a perv).so its almost like reading a book and reading a are both reading but not quite the same .....now where is that spell check button
