I came across a lady friend I have known for ages. She also took a look at my profile but knowing a little of her situation I decided not to contact her via the site. A few months later she deleted her profile and has subsequently met a guy and as of early Jan they were still as happy as can be.

Have come across a few profiles whom I have recognised through work or social environment.  I don't make it known that I know unless they speak to me directly about it.  We all here for the same reason, no need to out people because of it.   

I met a woman on here who had joined my tennis club a few weeks earlier. She came across my profile and said "hello, fancy finding you here" I was surprised, but pleasantly so. She no longer plays tennis but I see her from time o time at various parties we are invited to.
