I've built a couple of machines over the last year or so, started with mechanical types built with automotive windshield wiper motors, quite effective and relatively quiet but limited to 2 speeds and a fixed stroke. Then I built a pneumatic one, also entirely from redundant car parts of which I have plenty, an old brake master cylinder being the main ingredient. Works on 1bar pressure and produces diverse effects from short/fast to long/slow. Much better than the commercial types out there for big money, however it does require a compressed air source. I drag an 80l air cylinder at 10 bar into the playroom and we've never run out before she 'cries for mercy'! My problem is the electronics, something I know very little about, is there someone out there who can tell me how to modify an automotive flasher relay to vary it's pulse rate and make it independent of load?
Also built a man-machine with one of those latex pussies that I would challenge any 'stud' to survive a minute on 'high' without blowing his load! Currently working on a clit/nipplesucker, vacuum pump all rigged up and working, however struggling with creating variable pulsation rates without the above relay. Blew a grand on 2 vacuum switches which don't work as advertised so I guess it's back to the car junk!

Electronics is my thing and the kind of control you're looking for is best done with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control circuit with MOSFET transistors as the output stage these days, as opposed to relay control. This will give smooth and reliable control and can be done for around As for the Sybian it appears to be a powerful oversize Vibrator. Similar to the Vibrator in your Cell phone these are all normally just an electric motor with an off centre weight on the end of the shaft.
This is normally the sort of thing engineering trays to avoid, as it will eventually rattle everything apart but its intense effect on genitals cannot be denied.
