Can someone tell me why e mail addresses are not permissible on this site and why not starting something like the bbm or email addresses since it can be a persons own discretion wheather he or she want to receive emails from a specific subject or spam the rest. What is the view of others. Pls recommend or come up with suggestions.

My pennie as previous mod on the site, putting in any kind of contact details, means problems because its not private, only your pics in private are out of reach for the public
It's not that email addresses are not permitted - it's that the WHOLE site is available for public viewing by non-members.
Putting your personal contact info in a public place, on the internet, like that is simply a really doff idea!
The only place that you can safely control who has access to your info is by placing that sort of info ONLY in private messages to specific people. By the way "quick messages" are completely public!! and most people don't read their own qm's!
