Hi every one. I've been on the site now for nearly a year now. And I'm very happy with all the friends I've made and ppl I have met. Infact its been an out right awesome time!!! But is recently come to my attention that there are infact couples And single FEMALES that are requesting payment when meeting up with others. And not small amouts either.. I have be asked for R500 in return for sexual favours. Now if my memory serves correctly prostitution is illegal. And carries a jail sentance if convicted.. Even though the S.A. Justice system is pathetic To say the least. I for one find think that the actions and behavour of these Confirmed members should be handeled before the becomes a advertising Medium for sex workers. As I'm sure non of us won't that!
If we as members not report them, we only had to blame our self.

That is exactly my reasoning for this post. We as members can not allow these types of actions to happen.
Its only a matter of time before prostitutes, pimps and escourts start advertiseing on the site.
Soon after that police could be busting down your doors acusing you of sex trafficing.

Nothing new about it, and nothing unique about it on this site. It is unfortunate that it happens but still not right.
The mods keep a well run site and can say from experience that this is a very well run site in general, some would let it happen and only do something if it realy became a problem

The Police do not bother (for various reasons) . . . . . .
However,
if I was brought before a court of law charged with prostitution, my first comment to the Judge would be: "how can it be illegal if the state provides a health care service and condom supply specifically for prostitutes?"
Hi Jimjam, It is better to do a direct "report" of the profile/s involved, and provide evidence if possible, so that Admin can take action, rather than just mentioning it here. Please note that you may not "name and shame" by providing names (even of offenders) here in the Forum. To report, click to open the profile of the person who has sent you such an "offer" / request. At the far right of the menu bar at the top of the profile is a "Report" button. Click on that button, this will open a report to be sent to the Moderators, listing you as the reporter and providing the name of the profile being reported. There is a text box for you to describe the nature of the problem / offense. You should be able to highlight and right click and copy from their message, and paste that text into the report textbox, which will help provide the evidence needed by Admin to be able to take effective action. If properly reported, the profile/s will be banned, such action is always taken by Admin.

Thanks redbruce.
I will most definitly be making a few reports.
As far as naming and shaming goes.... These users have done that for them selves.
Besides the fact that if I have anything to say about them, there could be legal action taken against me for doing so.
I as a concerned member wanted to raise this problem to those who aren't aware of it.
And to the so mant that turn a blind eye towards it.
