hi there just wondering if in South Africa the anklet bracelet means the same as in UK and USA namely the lady is open minded etc..... Your thoughts ?

I remember back to teenage years, there was the "understanding" that the ankle bracelet was a "sign" . . . . these days I seriously doubt anybody thinks along those lines.

No there is no "meaning" to specific jewellery in SA. And I'm sure to make the assumption in USA or UK, would be equally unadvised. The problem is always that whatever a particular group may decide is a 'sign' for them, it's equally accessible to all sorts of people who do not associate with that group (who possibly have absolutely no knowledge even of the group), and could easily be used as a simple fashion choice for those "non-group" persons. I mean even religious symbols are no longer in the exclusive use of the groups to which they belong. .. wearing a cross or a star of David is now a fashion device and holds little if any spiritual meaning at al, to the majority of the people wearing them. .. dunno what can you do? It's the way things are now. .

Both words, Ball and Chains, has a very appealing sound for me!! I love to play with balls !!! I most certainly love chains.....I do make the nicest, IF I may brag about it, Body chains.....currently I am busy making *dog* collars AND of course I love playing with chains....they are so USEFUL sometimes!!! I love wearing chains. Now if only I could only find an attractive *willing*pair of balls to DRAG behind me... For sure I am INTO that !!! :angel::smile2::thrilled:
