My partner and I had an almost moment this past weekend while at a Vanilla bar. So he had this idea. We weighed up the pros and cons but i just wanna run this by the people in the lifestyle and see what you think.
So he has this whole idea that we should create and interactive group and make interaction in the group compulsory or else you get the boot. The whole aim of this group is not to meet people for immediate hookup. The whole point of the group is set the date and venue for Vanilla Evenings with a twist. Now let me elaborate. The group would gradually build up members via vouches and recommendations. Venues would be set according to partying potential (so venues would be on strips opposed to single clubs and so forth). SO for example. Let's say Greenside. An area with multiple bars that have a good atmosphere but different settings. You can dance in some and chat and have a drink in others. Something for everyone. Hopefully you get the whole venue idea by now. The group will definitely have its own set of rules which will enable people to identify each other with certain catch phrases. For example something like, "Would you mind if I join you, I won't be too naughty but I will be nice" (I know it lacks imagination but work with me here). Furthermore, there will need to be a certain something that shows we are a part of the group that must be worn (by who and what is negotiable), that will be used to identify each other. For example all men must have a little pink sticker on their right shoulder or something. Hopefully you get the point...
Now it sounds odd to me but this is what makes it interesting. You are able to go out and meet people without actually having the stress of play in the back of your mind. You MIGHT run into someone from the lifestyle and can either dance with them of simply have a chat over a drink since you already out. If things don't work out, it's not like you planned it. It simply means that you met a fellow lifestyler on YOUR night out (so you don't lose out on much). Since the festivities are on a strip you might run into a whole variety of different people and end up making some new friends.
So tell us what you think. Good idea, Bad idea or just too much admin???
