Recently we went away to the ocean for a few weeks. We stayed in the beach house of an old university friend of mine. It was a lovely house just a few meters away from the water. So I opened the windows and just absorbed the wind and the sounds of the sea.

After a few days I discovered the lagoon nearby and decided to take long walks on a daily basis next to the ocean and the lagoon. Since it was not holiday season I discovered after a few days that I could easily strip naked and enjoy some time in the nude as there were no other beach-goers near. Well just a few fishermen and they were any way out of sight.

After doing this for a few days, I relaxed and got more daring. One day as I was on the far end of the lagoon, I decided to strip. Within 10 minutes a boat, that was out on the ocean, came back into harbour in the lagoon area. So I decided to rather put my shorts back on. After he was in harbour, I stripped again. I walked slowly along the lagoon towards the ocean. A few minutes later I saw three people walking at the other side of the lagoon. I stopped and put my shorts back on until they were out of sight. The moment I was certain they could not see me, I would strip again and continue my walk. I did probably about 5 km in the nude that day with only the 2 stoppages.

So one day when I was on the beach, I saw people bathing in the lagoon. They were clothed, but I decided that I would like to try it later.... nude. So when they left, I took my shorts off and sat for a moment to absorb the surroundings. I could see some fishermen, but the sun in the west made it impossible for me to even count them. They were maybe 200 meter away. I just decided that I am going to walk toward the water. Then I realised that the sun makes it impossible for me to see them, but that does not mean that others cannot see me... Since I never swam there before and had no idea how swallow or deep the water will be, I decided to rather put on my shorts before I got to the water of the lagoon. In that way I will not be caught naked in the river if the water will only be half a meter deep for the first 10 meters near the riverbank... So I entered the water with my swim-shorts on. The water was cold, but really nice. I saw that the water became deep after about 3 meters after entering the river lagoon. So I returned to the river bank, looked around and stripped fully.

Now I entered the lagoon fully naked. WOW... I was fully naked on a public beach area. I walked again toward the spot where the water was deep enough to swim. After a few minutes of enjoying the water, I decided to return to my clothes. As I toward the side of the lagoon, I realised that I was again visible if there would be people next to the ocean. As the sun was making it impossible to recognise the fishermen further off, I just assumed that people on the beach will also not be able to see me because of the setting sunlight. Suddenly I saw a young couple walking near the ocean. They were about 100 meters away. Luckily they decided to sat down and watch the waves of the ocean. I was lucky!! So lucky...

I decided to put my shorts back on... and move away from the couple in another direction. Suddenly they decided to get up and continue their walk on the beach toward the lagoon where I was. Why did they sat down as I exited the lagoon? Why did they suddenly continued their walk? Was it that they spotted me naked? Why was the lady looking over her shoulder in my direction as I was putting my shorts on? Did she realise that I was naked? Was I actually caught naked by them?

I decided to determine for myself. I walk to the place where they sat and looked back (just like the lady did a few minutes ago).... and what did I realise? Yes, they could clearly have seen me. They must have seen me naked and that is why they decided to allow me to get dressed again. They saw me naked and that is why they sat down... They sat down to allow me to enjoy naked time on a public beach!
