I have seen the moon shine bright on a starry night, I have seen the sun burn away the rain after a brazen storm. I have cried for freedom and I have begged to be held, I have felt what it is to be happy, I have cried to feel the sadness that can break you apart. I have hated the truth, and sought for the comfortable lie! I have known anxiety when I had no way out, I have seen peace with a way in. I have never had anyone to ask for help except for the father above, and I had many ask me for help when I could not help. I have not made a difference to a million people's lives, but I have had an impact on a few. There are days that I pray to be taken from this world, and then there are moments I wish would never end, I have begged for forgiveness, and forgave when I knew I should not. My life is a croocked dirt road, not a paved asphalt shiny straight highway. I might not be the best I can be, but I'm the best of me, all bundled into flesh, heart and soul. I have lost many people along the way, that were sent to be a part of who I am and became, that shaped me into what and who I will become, I thank you each and everyone. I have prayed for forgiveness of my sins, only to sin again, I have said thank you for another day only to let it end in tears. I believe in the father above, but I have seen the evil within. I am not perfect and never want to be! I will forever be thankfull for another sunrise and another sunset. I am humble only to learn I need to be more. I let my light shine as a beacon of hope in a hopeless world...

May I be given the strength to endure, and the heart to be thankfull when I am blessed, may I be a vessel to shine the light of all that is good onto others. I am who I am, and I will be who I am destined to be....
